We are thrilled to announce that FC Bayern Munich (the reigning European Champions League champs) in partnership with Auf Ballhoehe, Concordia Language Villages, and the German Consulate has designed a special skills competition (for kids 12-16 years old) that is coming to Green White on July 20th. It will be held from 9am-Noon just before the Stefan Zimmer Memorial Men's Tournament at the Green White fields at Majewski Park. (If you have signed up for the German Soccer Camp you will also be participating in a version of this competition on Friday night July 19th, as part of the camp.)

The competition is open to all kids 12-16 years old--you don't have to be a Green White player--and it's free. Trainers from Germany will be on hand to co-ordinate it. Winners in each of the four competitions (you may only participate in one) will receive authentic Bayern Munich jerseys.  If you have any questions, contact Rick Kaempfer at rick.kaempfer@aufballhoehe.de, or you can also reach him at amishrick@yahoo.com

This is a huge honor for Green White to be chosen for the site of this event, only a few other sites in the whole country were chosen. Please come out to support it (and stick around for the men's tournament, food and drinks will be available). If we have a good showing, there's a very good chance this could become an annual event. Spread the word!
