International Experience Program

About IEP

The Green White International Experience Program was created to offer possibilities for young soccer players within the club to train, compete, and most importantly learn about new cultures through soccer.  This is done by working with other clubs around the world and organizing trips to those countries and working with them to help them travel to the United States.  We feel in this ever increasing global society of social media, and gaming; it is important that our young athletes connect with other youths in person and interact with them beyond the electronic screens.

IEP Trip: Germany 2015

In June, Green White's U14 Girls team traveled to Germany.  It was a successful trip!  The Girls had a 2-2 record with 9 goals scored and 4 goals against.   We made new friends with SV Weinberg, TSG Hoffenheim and TSV Crailsheim.  We can't wait to see our friends again weather it's during our next trip to Germany in 2017 or hosting them before then.

Wanted: International Teams

If you are a soccer (football) club outside the United States and would like to travel to the United States to compete; Green White would love to work with you. Green White Soccer Club will volunteer their time and efforts to help in coordinating, training spaces/equipment, guest trainers, tournaments, and friendly games with Green White teams and other teams in the area. We can also help with working with local hotels and suggest site-seeing excursions in beautiful Chicago.   We do this to help broaden our international community and help our players experience other cultures without leaving the training pitch. We have members that speak German, Spanish and Polish to help.  If interested please contact Mike Folkers:

The generous contributions from these organizations make this program a possibility.
